Care tips
Watering
Water weekly when the top few centimetres of soil feel dry. It does not like soggy roots.
Light
Partial shade is ideal. It tolerates lower light than most palms but no hot midday sun.
Feeding and repotting
Feed monthly in spring and summer. It grows slowly, so repot only every few years, ideally in spring.
Watch out for
Brown tips come from dry air or salts in the soil. Rinse the soil now and then and wipe the dust off the fronds.
